Step 3. Resolve their action
After getting a result, carry out the action using the mechanics of the
game system you’re playing. This might require a roll, a card draw, or
a full procedure. Or it might not require anything at all. Sometimes,
after a character decides what they do, you as the GM simply
describe what happens next. That’s fine. Use your judgment.

J'avais jamais entendu parler de The Hooded Man.

The party is settling down to camp for the night. It’s
usually the thief who cooks their meals, but the warrior
has “Grew up on a farm” as a Trait. I wonder if it’s time for
that to show.
The Obvious thing would be to let the thief cook as usual.
For the Option, the warrior offers to cook instead. Given
the circumstances and what they’ve been through, I feel
like this less expected behavior might surface, so I decide
to Double-Down.
I roll two dice and get 3 and 3. Doubles. Not only does the
Option happen, but the behavior becomes more prevalent.
I mark “Grew up on a farm” as prominent on his Trait
Sheet to reflect that. On a future occasion, this kind of
practical, hands-on instinct might just be the Obvious
choice for him.

Apparently you can take the boy out of the dungeon, but you can't take the dungeon out of the boy

Random Discoveries
Roll d6.
1 Ancient Dwarven Forge
The party uncovers an ancient forge. Inside, powerful Dwarven tools and a half-
completed magical weapon lie in the dust. Reactivating the forge could trigger a
deadly trap or complete the construction of the weapon.
2 Vein of Gleaming Ore
The party stumbles upon a rich vein of rare ore, its surface gleaming with magical
potential. Mining it could yield valuable materials for crafting or trade, but the act
may draw the attention of nearby Dökkálfar, whose dark magic thrives on such
disturbances.
3 Crystallised Cave
A crystal-filled cave shimmers with an eerie glow, its walls lined with precious
stones. But beware—the cave is fiercely guarded by Crystal Spiders, creatures
that strike at any intruder.
4 Forgotten Vault
The party uncovers a vault sealed by ancient runes. Inside, the riches of the
Dwarven world await—runic weapons, enchanted armour, and untold treasures.
But opening the vault could awaken Rock Golems, bound to protect the contents
with deadly force.
5 Dvalin’s Workshop
Hidden deep within the caves, the party discovers Dvalin’s workshop, filled with
cursed artefacts and unfinished creations. To handle these items safely, Test
Wits DR14—for any wrong move might trigger their dark magic. But those who
succeed may claim the power these twisted creations offer.
6 Collapsed Mine
The remains of a collapsed mine lead deeper into the earth, a maze of crumbling
tunnels. These dark passages may hide lost Dwarven artefacts, but tremors rock
the area, making every step a gamble.
